If you have seen Buckwheat’s story then you know about Bailey. She was the more reserved of the two, but in the early days, she and her brother, BW, were inseparable. In those days, she spent most of her days in an upstairs bedroom where she had all the comforts of home; separate breakfast, dinner and snack spot up high, dry food and water and litter box in the upstairs hallway and a king-sized bed for naps and plenty of windows to check outside activity on the street below.

When Tom arrived, you'd have thought they were boyfriend/girlfriend; they were always together, eating, napping or just laying around. That only lasted a few months, but it was cute to see.

Since my office was in an adjoining room, she spent quite a bit of time there as the ‘Corporate Cat’. If she was not clamoring to sit in my lap, she was content to lie on the desk under the light. Besides, it’s warm!
